About Our Founder

Raquel Simmons

Simmons Drafting and Design was founded by Raquel Simmons in 2019. Her background stemmed from a degree in Interior Design in 2006 and blossomed into a career in construction and architectural design of 17 years. During that time, she has been able to work on projects large and small to include small home additions to large custom homes. Originally beginning work in California, she gained extensive knowledge into building codes, Energy efficiency and fiscally responsible construction practices. More recently she has taken on work in Wyoming and Montana, learning cold weather construction practices.

Her designs are known for their intentional and thoughtful purpose.

Yes! My services are start to finish. The submittal and permit process can be cumbersome in some municipalities and I can help navigate that until you are issued a permit.
